Summer wouldn’t be complete without a family getaway! Last April 22, we had a summer outing with my titas and titos aswell as my cousins (father side) in the Pampangueno Inn Resort and Spa in Trece Martirez, Cavite. Continue reading “Family Summer Getaway ’17”
Last week, May 13, we went to Balagbag to visit my grandparent’s house (my mom side) because we’re renovating some parts of our old house. On the way there, we bought a bunch of pineapples and taho, which I miss.
It has been 17 years since you gave me the most beautiful you gift I’ve ever received, the gift of life, but 9 months before that, even when you haven’t seen me, you took care of me, and loved me unconditionally. Continue reading “Happy Mother’s Day!”
“You are all the colors in one, at full brightness.” “We do not remember days, we remember moments.”
“You saved my life, why couldn’t I save yours?”
After reading How to Love by Katie Cotugno, which I haven’t created a review yet oops haha, I was scrolling on my ebook library and I was trying my best to find a new read that would spark my interest as I stumble upon All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. Lately, I spent most of my time scrolling and reading posts from one blog to another, yes, almost the whole summer break. And I am clearly obsessed with blogs, especially those who are about fashion, lifestyle and of course travel. In fact, it was one of the reasons why I wanted to start a blog, I was inspired by most Filipino bloggers like the blogger besties, ViVid, etcetera. Of course, I have my favorites but one of the first blogs I followed was the Thirstythought by Kryz Uy. Continue reading “Style Peg: Kryz Uy”
Georgie McCool knows her marriage is in trouble; it has been in trouble for a long time. She still loves her husband, Neal, and Neal still loves her, deeply — but that almost seems beside the point now. Maybe that was always beside the point.
Two days before they’re supposed to visit Neal’s family in Omaha for Christmas, Georgie tells Neal that she can’t go. She’s a TV writer, and something’s come up on her show; she has to stay in Los Angeles. She knows that Neal will be upset with her — Neal is always a little upset with Georgie — but she doesn’t expect him to pack up the kids and go home without her. When her husband and the kids leave for the airport, Georgie wonders if she’s finally done it. If she’s ruined everything.
That night, Georgie discovers a way to communicate with Neal in the past. It’s not time travel, not exactly, but she feels like she’s been given an opportunity to fix her marriage before it starts… Is that what she’s supposed to do?
I’ve been watching a bunch of vlogs lately and one of my favorite youtubers asked this question, although I forgot who she/he is but this made an impact to me, especially now that I am in my Grade 11 wherein I need to make one of the ultimate mega super important decision of my life, that could have great effect on my future, that I should be thinking about this now. Continue reading “If money wasn’t an issue, what would you be doing right now?”
Last week, I was trying to get back to reading and so I decided to try and find good books to read, YA books in particular. Don’t judge, but I am the 1% of readers who actually prefer ebooks than paperback. I don’t know, but whenever I read in paperbacks, I cannot finish a whole book.
